Hello, I am Kevin Garda the owner of House Garda Athletics and want to thank you for taking the time to learn a little more about our small family owned Henderson, NV born business. Our goal at HGA is to assist all of our athletes in their journey to achieving their dreams and goals. If you are have just started learning hockey or to skate. Maybe you are just casually looking to improve your skills. As well as advanced athletes who desire to push themselves to the limit and beyond. We offer professional equipment sanitization utilizing the Fresh Gear Rapid Sanitizing system safely removing odors and up to 99.9% of bacteria, viruses, and germs. Using the Commercial Sparx Skate Sharpener we provide a precise and consistent ice skate sharpening with every job preformed. Being born and raised in Las Vegas my brother and I were exposed to the incredible sport of hockey from a family friend. His father happened to be the team doctor of our professional hockey club back then the Las Vegas Thunder. While playing a majority of roller hockey in our youth as it was much more affordable, we also were able to playing a few seasons of ice hockey. I unfortunately did not play much through out high school but at the age of twenty I picked the game back up playing ice again. I came quite a way considering when beginning to play again I could not even stop at all with my left foot. Lacking any real formal coaching in my youth I began to teach myself and absorb anything I could from more experienced players around me. Fast forward sixteen years of being involved in the incredible game of hockey I have the opportunity to share and spread my passion for my favorite sport. I met my Beautiful wife playing the game, some of my best friends, and have learned more life lessons from hockey then maybe anything else.
